Dr. Zhou Meixiang - currently serving as a part-time senior social risk management expert and project manager in the World Bank's China Mongolia Bureau; Specially appointed expert in environmental and social risk management at the Green Development Research Institute, and part-time expert in social risk management at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. With nearly 20 years of practical experience in social risk management for international multilateral banks and Chinese investment projects, we have implemented social risk management for more than 80 World Bank investment projects, involving investments of over 70 billion yuan in more than ten industry sectors. Dr. Zhou obtained a master's degree in management information system and a doctor's degree in public administration from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Zhou has led the implementation of dozens of projects for the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank, and is well versed in project management cycles and process steps, as well as social risk management in large-scale projects. The investment business, management tools, concepts, and processes of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank involve over a dozen countries in China and Southeast Asia.

Born in Guilin, Guangxi in 1962, holds a PhD in Engineering from Tsinghua University. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Carbon Neutrality at Tencent Group, Deputy Director of the Carbon Neutrality Special Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association, Green Finance Expert of the International Financial Forum Expert Committee, Member of the Expert Group of the China Climate Finance Special Committee, and Part time Professor at Northwestern University and Beijing Foreign Trade University.
From 2010 to 2022, served as the Climate Change Advisor and Chief Climate Change Expert at the Asian Development Bank. Before joining the Asian Development Bank, he served as Deputy Director of the National Climate Center, Executive Deputy Director of the Climate Change Center of the China Meteorological Administration, Director of the Joint Laboratory of Climate Change Economics between the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the China Meteorological Administration, Member of the Executive Board of the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism, Deputy Director of the Global Environment Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Researcher of the Social Development Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as a member of the China Economic Council and part-time professor at Tongji University and Tianjin University.

World Bank International Finance Corporate Governance Expert-Liu Min
Ms. Liu Min is currently serving as a corporate governance consultant for the ESG department of the International Finance Corporation ("IFC") under the World Bank Group, providing corporate governance consulting and training services to IFC's clients in East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, and Latin America. She led a team to develop several corporate governance manuals: "Effective Board: Board Handbook" (jointly developed with Shenzhen Stock Exchange), "Overcoming Crisis: Board Handbook" (translated), and distributed tens of thousands of copies to directors and executives in China. Ms. Liu Min currently serves as a corporate governance consultant for the New Development Bank (NDB) of BRICS countries, conducting corporate governance evaluations for its investment projects in various regions.
Ms. Liu also serves as a mentor for the EMBA Corporate Governance program at Tongji University. The overall evaluation, breadth and depth of teaching content, international perspective, and excellent rate of management practice and career development value of her corporate governance course are all above 98%. Ms. Liu is also a certified director trainer by the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF) and has been selected as a training expert for listed companies on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
