Dr. Zhou Meixiang

Dr. Zhou Meixiang - currently serving as a part-time senior social risk management expert and project manager in the World Bank's China Mongolia Bureau; Specially appointed expert in environmental and social risk management at the Green Development Research Institute, and part-time expert in social risk management at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. With nearly 20 years of practical experience in social risk management for international multilateral banks and Chinese investment projects, we have implemented social risk management for more than 80 World Bank investment projects, involving investments of over 70 billion yuan in more than ten industry sectors. Dr. Zhou obtained a master's degree in management information systems and a doctorate in public administration from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Zhou has led the implementation of dozens of projects for the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank, and is well versed in project management cycles and process steps, as well as social risk management in large-scale projects. The investment business, management tools, concepts, and processes of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank involve over a dozen countries in China and Southeast Asia.

Dr. Shi Han

Dr. Shi Han currently serves as a senior researcher at the Center for Contemporary China and World Studies at the University of Hong Kong, founding director of the ESG Center at the University of Hong Kong's China Business School, and visiting scholar at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Business School. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the School of Sustainable Development at Arizona State University in the United States and an international consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on international industrial chains and circular economy.

Dr. Shi Han serves as the Chief Scientist of the National Economic and Technological Development Zone Green Development Alliance of the Ministry of Commerce, a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the China Green Supply Chain Alliance, a special invited researcher of the 60 Person Forum on Green Finance, and a member of the Expert Committee for the Annual Selection of the Hong Kong ESG List. Dr. Shi Han obtained a master's and doctoral degree in industrial ecology from Yale University in the United States, and a dual bachelor's and master's degree in environmental systems engineering and computer applications from Tsinghua University. Since the Earth Summit in 1992, he has accumulated 30 years of experience in sustainable development planning and implementation. He has visited and consulted over 1000 industrial enterprises, covering areas such as clean production, environmental management, circular economy, green supply chain management, ESG integration and information disclosure, and the net zero transformation roadmap. Since 1994, Dr. Shi Han has provided consulting services to international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the European Union, the Global Environment Facility, and the Australian Aid Agency.

Professor Lu Yonghong

Professor Yonghong Lu is currently a Professor in the Faculty of Government Management and Policy Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and serves as the Director of the Centre for Business Sustainability at the Business School. He possesses profound academic expertise and extensive practical experience.

With a diverse academic background, Professor Lu earned his Ph.D. in Politics from Flinders University in South Australia and completed his doctoral studies in law at the Renmin University of China Law School. His research focuses on government and law, environmental protection, public management, as well as corporate environmental management and social responsibility in China and Hong Kong. He has published a substantial body of academic work, providing theoretical support for the industry. On the practical side, he has provided management consulting and training for enterprises. In 2010, he served as an advisor to HSBC, reviewing its sustainable development strategy. More recently, he developed and released the Hong Kong SME and Corporate Sustainability Index to promote the implementation of corporate ESG management. Additionally, Professor Lu has conducted visiting research at prestigious overseas institutions such as the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Southern California, further strengthening international academic collaboration.

Senior Consultant–Prof. Yang Muzhen

Professor Shirley Yeung is a Professor of Practice and Head of the School of Business at Gratia Christian College in Hong Kong. She also serves as an Advanced Signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME) and Associate Vice President of the UNESCO Hong Kong Association. Her extensive professional qualifications include the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Strategic Business Alliances (from 2025), Member of the UNPRME Anti-Poverty Steering Working Group, and IEMA-accredited Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Practitioner. She is also a Senior ISO9000 Lead Auditor and has served as an Evaluator for the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) and a Subject Specialist for the Qualifications Framework Authority in both the US and Hong Kong.

Professor Yeung has received numerous accolades. In 2018, she was honored with the "The Outstanding Global Leader with Impacts - Woman Award, 2018" from the Tonggen Tongmeng(Common Roots, Common Dreams) initiative and was nominated as a UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pioneer by the UN Global Compact. In 2017, she received the 2nd Global Young Leader Award from Asia Weekly, and in 2019, she set a Guinness World Record in Hong Kong by holding the Yoga Warrior II pose for 3 minutes with over 1,000 participants. Dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Mindset, UN SDGs, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), she has organized SDG knowledge transfer activities, promoted the Thousand Islands conservation project in Indonesia, and served as Interim Project Advisor for the Entrepreneurial Academy at the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC). Her work has made significant contributions to community development, youth education, and sustainable growth.

Tencent Carbon Neutral Senior Consultant–Dr. Lv Xuedu

Born in Guilin, Guangxi in 1962, holds a PhD in Engineering from Tsinghua University. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Carbon Neutrality at Tencent Group, Deputy Director of the Carbon Neutrality Special Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association, Green Finance Expert of the International Financial Forum Expert Committee, Member of the Expert Group of the China Climate Finance Special Committee, and Part time Professor at Northwestern University and Beijing Foreign Trade University.

From 2010 to 2022, served as the Climate Change Advisor and Chief Climate Change Expert at the Asian Development Bank. Before joining the Asian Development Bank, he served as Deputy Director of the National Climate Center, Executive Deputy Director of the Climate Change Center of the China Meteorological Administration, Director of the Joint Laboratory of Climate Change Economics between the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the China Meteorological Administration, Member of the Executive Board of the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism, Deputy Director of the Global Environment Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Researcher of the Social Development Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as a member of the China Economic Council and part-time professor at Tongji University and Tianjin University.

Dr. Xu Chengbin - Director of the Capital Business Innovation Consulting Center of China International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., Researcher and Professor level Senior Engineer. I graduated with a PhD from the Department of Investment Economics at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and am an expert who enjoys special government allowances from the State Council. Director Xu Chengbin has been engaged in engineering consulting work for nearly 30 years, leading and participating in hundreds of major investment project consulting and policy research projects. He specializes in feasibility studies, technical and economic analysis, infrastructure investment and financing, REITs and PPP, and ESG policy research and implementation. World Bank International Finance Corporate Governance Expert-Liu Min

Ms. Liu Min is currently serving as a corporate governance consultant for the ESG department of the International Finance Corporation ("IFC") under the World Bank Group, providing corporate governance consulting and training services to IFC's clients in East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, and Latin America. She led a team to develop several corporate governance manuals: "Effective Board: Board Handbook" (jointly developed with Shenzhen Stock Exchange), "Overcoming Crisis: Board Handbook" (translated), and distributed tens of thousands of copies to directors and executives in China. Ms. Liu Min currently serves as a corporate governance consultant for the New Development Bank (NDB) of BRICS countries, conducting corporate governance evaluations for its investment projects in various regions.

Ms. Liu also serves as a mentor for the EMBA Corporate Governance program at Tongji University. The overall evaluation, breadth and depth of teaching content, international perspective, and excellent rate of management practice and career development value of her corporate governance course are all above 98%. Ms. Liu is also a certified director trainer by the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF) and has been selected as a training expert for listed companies on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. She has been invited multiple times to teach corporate governance courses at the National Independent Director Training Course for Listed Companies organized by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, as well as at the Director Supervisor Training Course organized by the China Banking Association and the China Insurance Industry Association.
